Reddit comments are even more exposing than posts — they show your opinions, personality, and behavior across dozens of communities. This guide covers how to delete Reddit comments efficiently, from a single comment to your entire comment history.
On Reddit, go to your profile and click the "Comments" tab. You'll see your comment history in reverse chronological order. Reddit only shows the last 1,000 comments in their interface.
Karmdit accesses your complete comment history via Reddit's API — not just the 1,000 limit shown in the Reddit interface. This is essential for cleaning up years of commenting.
Filter by subreddit (e.g., delete only your r/politics comments), date range (e.g., delete everything before 2022), or karma score (e.g., delete low-karma or controversial comments).
Review the filtered comments, exclude any you want to keep, and click Delete. Karmdit processes all selected comments automatically.
Reddit has no "delete all comments" option. Use Karmdit: sign in with Reddit, switch to Comments view, select all (or filter to specific communities/dates), and bulk delete. Karmdit processes comments in batches to stay within Reddit's API limits.
Reddit's web interface only shows your last 1,000 comments. Karmdit uses the Reddit API to access your full comment history — there's no limit. Users with decade-long Reddit histories have successfully cleaned 10,000+ comments.
After deleting, comments may briefly show as "[deleted]" while Reddit's servers update. Within minutes to hours, the comment should be completely removed from public view.
Replies remain visible but your original comment shows as "[deleted]". The conversation thread stays intact — only your specific comment is removed.
