Most cleanup tools just delete. We built Karmdit so you can see what's there, choose what goes, and verify it's actually gone.
Estimated time for a typical 10-year account: 18–40 minutes, mostly waiting.
Karmdit starts every cleanup with a profile audit — a clear picture of what you've posted, where, when, and what's risky.
Most people haven't actually looked at their Reddit history in years. You can scroll the audit before you delete a single thing.
Choose a recipe — Karmdit pre-selects the right filters. Or open the full filter UI: subreddit, date range, score, keyword, NSFW, post type, flair. Preview every item before you commit.
"Hide the cringe before the background check."
"Posts mentioning your name, employer, location."
"All NSFW activity, regardless of context."
"Anything older than five years."
Most cleanup tools just tell Reddit to hide your content. Karmdit can overwrite it first — with random text or a custom message — so even if Reddit's archives or a third-party scraper restored your post, the original is no longer there.
And before any deletion, we save you a copy. Your past is yours; we just help you put it where you want it.
"Honestly the new manager at Acme Corp is a complete…"

Reddit can quietly restore deleted content — through mod actions, API quirks, or its own retention systems. Most tools never look back.
Karmdit re-checks every deletion seven days later, and if anything came back, you'll know. Then we can re-delete it for you.
You'll post again. You don't have to come back here every time. Schedule auto-deletion of anything older than 90 days. Set a monthly re-scan that re-runs your filters against your latest activity.
Karmdit handles the rest — quietly, in the background, until you tell it to stop.
No AI guessing. No surprise deletes. Karmdit shows you the comment, the subreddit, the year and the score. Toggle the filters. Read it back. Then commit.
Privacy isn't a feature; it's the only reason this product is worth using. Four practices we won't compromise on.
Karmdit never logs the content of your posts after deletion. Only the deletion record itself, for verification.
GDPR-aligned by default. Lower latency for European users, deliberate jurisdictional choice for everyone else.
No password collection. You can revoke our access from Reddit's settings at any time — same as any other connected app.
Reddit access tokens never leave our backend. Encrypted at rest. We don't ship them to your browser, ever.
In theory, yes — Reddit retains data for legal compliance and sometimes for moderator review. Karmdit's overwrite-before-delete (Pro tier) replaces your content with random text before deletion, so even if Reddit's systems restore the deletion, the original content isn't there to restore.
You stop being charged immediately. Your account stays — you keep access to your cleanup history, audit dashboard, and Free-tier features (100 deletions/month). You can re-subscribe anytime. Cancellation is one-click from your dashboard. No retention prompts.
No. We only delete posts and comments you tell us to. Your account, karma, and account history remain untouched.
No. Karmdit uses Reddit's OAuth — you sign in on Reddit's site, then grant Karmdit specific permissions. We never see or store your password. You can revoke our access at any time from reddit.com/prefs/apps.
Karmdit can delete private messages and chat conversations alongside posts and comments, on the same plan tier you've subscribed to.
Free tier is permanent and unmetered for filters, preview, and the audit dashboard. You can use it forever. Upgrades unlock when you need them — no time-limited trials, no cards-on-file to start.
The cleanup history flags items that couldn't be deleted, with the reason. We then either retry, or — for some cases — offer to generate a GDPR/CCPA right-to-erasure request you can send to Reddit directly.
